In 1990, Roger Waters took “The Wall” to Berlin and at the time it was one of the largest rock concerts ever staged. More than two decades later, the creative mastermind behind Pink Floyd returns with “The Wall Live” UK tour, playing a total of 5 nights at the O2 and MEN Arenas. This will be Waters’ first performance of “The Wall” in over 20 years, and with a state-of-the-art stage set by album illustrator Gerald Scarfe and a full band performing the entire album, this promises to be one of the most eagerly awaited concerts of 2011.

Roger Waters is arguably one of the greatest rock musicians, singer-songwriters and composers England has ever produced. He was the bass player, co-lead vocalist, lyricist and one of the founding members of Pink Floyd.
In 1984 Waters began a solo career after 19 years with the band, releasing three studio albums. Waters reunited with band members Nick Mason, Richard Wright and David Gilmour for what would be a final routine at the 2005 Live 8 concert in London 's Hyde Park. This was Waters first appearance with Pink Floyd 's since their last performance of “The Wall” at Earls Court more than 20 years prior.
Since 1999 he has toured extensively as a solo artist and played the full “The Dark Side of the Moon” sets for his global tours of 2006-2008.
