Coldplay formed in London in 1997 and shot to international fame when they released that their first single 'Yellow'. This was followed by the release of their hugely successful debut album, which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.This was followed in 2002 by 'A rush of blood to the head' and in 2005 'XP'.They worked with Brian Eno on their fourth studio album 'Viva la vida or Death and all his friends' which is out this year.
